CONFIDENTIAL OPERATIONS MANUAL

FRANCHISE ESSENTIALS

PRETRAINING

Our New Franchisee Training Class is designed to ensure that you have the best possible launch into your role with us. You'll gain an in-depth understanding of our business, enabling you to make informed decisions and create effective strategies. With a comprehensive curriculum and expert trainers, we're confident that you can become a successful part of our team. We will equip you with all the tools and knowledge needed to maximize your potential as a franchisee — setting yourself up for success right from the start!  

During Franchise Essentials, franchisees will be thoroughly guided through the processes and procedures involved in owning and running a REFRESH® franchise. Our corporate subject matter expert teams are on hand to answer any questions you may have and ensure that everything is understood.

You’ll get an invaluable education in how each area of the business affects the franchise as a whole. This includes topics such as marketing, accounting, sales, operations, human resources, recruiting, and training - plus many more. By the end of these workshops, you’ll leave feeling fully equipped to run your own successful REFRESH® franchise. 

PHASE ONE

PHASE 1: Get ready for an immersive experience! At REFRESH®, we want to make sure you're fully equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to take on the daily operations of your franchise. Over the course of 10 days, our Akron HQ will be home to your comprehensive training journey. You'll receive one-on-one guidance from members of our Field Training Team who are experts in their field—allowing you to ask questions and gain insights into what it takes to manage a successful franchise. 

Our program is designed with your success in mind, covering all the key aspects that constitute a first year as a franchisee. Whether it's understanding business fundamentals or learning how to market efficiently—we've got you covered every step of the way. 

PHASE TWO

PHASE 2: 

Once you’re ready to open, it's time for our Field Training Team to provide you with hands-on support and training. We'll be at your location for 5 days, ensuring that any questions are answered providing on-the-job training so that all work you do is of the highest quality, so you can provide services that will be in high demand. During this time, we'll also make sure that your operations run as smoothly as possible - from the call center to the operating system to the technicians. And don't forget: here at REFRESH, ongoing support is always available so don't hesitate to reach out whenever needed!

Once your Onboarding Training is complete, we don’t just leave you to it. We come back each month to ensure that you have the help and support needed for success. As you become more comfortable with our services, in-person visits are reduced to quarterly visits. We also offer additional training opportunities for new managers or those wanting a refresher course; these are available at an additional cost but our annual refresher training remains free. With our continued support and guidance, we bring success within reach!
